Once again, The Darrow Chem Syndicate is here to take the hats off to the pioneer era of electronic music. Having had releases based on mainly 60’s experimental music and classic sci-fi Original Sound Tracks, the guys this time team up with no one else than Silver Apples this time.

Formed in 1967, Silver Apples as a psychedelic electronic duo quickly gained reputation as New York’s leading underground musical expression. They have laid the groundwork for what has become Krautrock - installing own-built-synthesizer sounds and psychedelic elements into their songs.

The second remix release manifests its respect by reprezenting another 3 classic Silver Apples tracks in the disguise of modern electronic music.
Basement Freaks twists and twirls ‘I Don’t Care What People Say’ into a very clever and copious slow-sweep monster, while ‘I Have Known Love’ enjoys the brass-heavy and funk-breaks driven love of Fort Knox Five. To round up the single, ‘You And I’ gets a solid treatment from Arsa Ketoma - being fully packed with tough, yet groovy breakbeats of the young Portuguese producer.

Nipponeer Records being based in Tokyo, Japan and was founded by Hiroshi Fukuma in 2003. This is the 5th release of the label, while the first EP came out in 2009 - aiming to reach a place of solely ageless and quality music, where time has got no dimension.
